Yoakemae Tatsu no Gin Nama is a namazake (fresh un pasteurized sake) from Ono Brewery in Nagano Prefecture, brewed with top-grade Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 60%, showcasing the brewery’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.

Originally introduced in 2000 as a special millennium edition, Tatsu no Gin quickly gained popularity and became a beloved series from Ono Brewery. The name "Tatsu no Gin" reflects its origins: 2000 was the Year of the Dragon (Tatsu), and the brewery is located in Tatsuno Town.

This sake is celebrated for its refined ginjo aroma and clean mouthfeel, surpassing the typical expectations of a Tokubetsu Honjozo. The first sip introduces a gentle sweetness, followed by a silky mouthfeel and a touch of elegance, leaving behind a refreshing clarity.

Adding to its charm, the sake is known for its auspicious story—on the night of its first release, it played a part in bringing two people together, leading to their marriage. A sake of refined taste and good fortune, perfect for celebrations and special moments.

※ Namazake (生酒) commonly have fresher, fruitier taste, whereas normal pasteurized Sake is more subtle and soft flavor.

Tasting Notes:

  • Flavor: Gentle sweetness nicely balanced with a crisp finish.
  • Best Served: Chilled (10-15°C) in small sake cup or on the rocks for a refreshing experience
